Momentum Stage, a non-profit organization offering professional development opportunities for dance makers and dance educators now offers "Care-full Creativity Accreditation" for dance studios, conventions, camps and academic programs. This 5-part training incorporates power dynamics, consent, trauma-informed practices, touch, and criticism. According to the website, "Care-full Creativity is designed to support dance educators and creators in developing and sustaining consent-forward, trauma-informed creative practices to facilitate resilience, center student mental and physical safety, and foster confident performances."

Nicole co-presented at the National Dance Education Organization annual conference and the Utah Dance Education Organization annual professional development day with dance education Halie Bahr (University of Southern Utah) and Cat Kamrath-Monson (University of Wyoming) on "Psychological Safety in the Dance Studio."

Minding the Gap, a mental health resource and training organization for dancers and dance companies is hosting a Deep Dive, 3 learning sessions on specific topics in dance training this summer. Intimacy Direction in Dance (IDID) is looking forward to providing a workshop: Creating Consent in Dance on July 30 at 1pm ET. Virtual and recorded.
All 3 IDID founders will be offering their best available practices for creating consent-forward dance training spaces. Examples will include studios, K-12, higher ed, and professional work.

Nicole Perry was honored for Intimacy Direction on four different productions in the South Florida Theatre 2021-22 Season last Monday, October 17, 2022, with a Silver Palm Award. Given for "An Outstanding Contribution", Perry received the award for work on Theatre Lab's "To Fall in Love" and "Overactive Letdown", New City Player's "Lungs", and Island City Stage's "One in Two". Perry worked on ten live theatrical productions and one opera last season in South Florida. Her work on "To Fall in Love" has also received a Carbonell nomination. The Carbonell Awards are November 7, 2022 in Lauderhill.
